This songbook is one of the core materials given to students walking the year-long facilitator training path at Mother's House Lineage Institute. We are now making it available as a standalone resource for those who feel called to deepen their relationship with ceremony music.
The songs came to us through ceremony, through lineage, and through the plants themselves. Icaros from the Shipibo-Conibo tradition, Quechua medicine songs, Sanskrit mantras, Lakota prayers, and sacred songs from traditions across the world — all the ones we have been singing together in circle, gathered into one place.
Over 50 songs organised across eight chapters that follow the arc of a ceremony — from Opening & Welcoming through Calling the Medicine, Healing & Visions, Protection, Surrender & Ego Release, all the way to Closing & Gratitude. Every song includes full lyrics, chord charts with diagrams, and translations.
